Since I started my FYP's blog from week 3, therefore, I think that I need to wrote some of review on what I did on week 1 and 2;
WEEK 1
Title: Register for final year project and choose the supervisor
Objective:
1) To select suitable project based on my study field.
2) To grab knowledge from experienced people.
Progress:
- I registered the title at RPS and met my supervisor, Sir Izwan to explain in detail about the project he proposed at RPS.
- There were so many ideas he explained to me. I can choose whether I want to do the hardware or software part only.
- He told me to start doing the research on this project and show it to him.
Conclusion:
As a conclusion, I begin to have ideas on what Automatic Document Receiver is exactly about.
WEEK 2
Title: Doing first research
Objective:
1) To understand more about my project.
2) To determine the concept and what is the software or hardware that I need to know.
Progress:
- After I've done some research, I started to see that my project is having similar concept with cash or cheque deposit machine.
- I tried to find how the machine runs but it was so difficult.
- I met Sir Izwan to show him on my research ideas about the machine and he told me to keep on searching.
- I also met my supervisor to ask his guideline about how to do the proposal.
Conclusion:
I need to do extra research to help and improve my understanding about my FYP.
